This group of puzzles is fun for all ages and has versions to use with red/green glasses or a red lens patch.

Directions

Print out the puzzles in color.

Each puzzle has a word bank, along with a series of boxes that represent words. You must fill in the correct words into the correct boxes by matching the size and combination of boxes to the words.

This can be great for spacial recognition, but add red/green glasses or a red lens patch to make it great for anti-suppression to strengthen a weak or amblyopic eye.

Each file that you get will be geared for a red lens patch (the redish/oragish color) or the red/green or red/blue classes (yellow and blue color). Your optometrist will help you know how to use this.

Details

This digital product is a compilation of 8 different word shape puzzles based on nursery rhymes. There are 3 different files that can be printed; black and white, red for a red lens patch, and blue/yellow for red/green glasses. Each file contains the same 8 puzzles.

It includes multiple verses of Twinkle Twinkle, Hey Diddle Diddle, Jack and Jill, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and Little Miss Muffet. The first verse is much easier, but the others present more of a challenge.

The puzzles can be used and enjoyed by all ages and are a medium difficulty level. They are meant to be used in conjunction with vision therapy with a red lens patch or red/green or red/blue glasses. Be sure to check with your optometrist to determine the difficulty that you or your child may need.
